Distributor and Lube Oil Licences Expanded to Include the Processing of Waste Lube Oils:

The Petroleum Market Licensing Regulation has recently been amended to extend the scope of activities that can be conducted by distributor and lube oil license holders.

Recently, the Energy Markets Regulation Authority (“EMRA”) amended the Regulation on Implementation of National Markers in Petroleum Market (“Regulation”) by means of issuing a new regulation which was published in the Official Gazette dated June 12, 2015 (“Amending Regulation”).

New Changes Brought to the Environmental Permission and Licenses in Accordance With the Turkish Environmental Law:

The Ministry of Environment and Urban Planning has recently issued a Regulation on Environmental Permission and Licenses (“the Regulation”), rendering the previous regulation dated April 29, 2009 (“the Repelled Regulation”) obsolete. The Regulation will be in force as of November 1, 2014.
